Central Florida bull riding fans have the opportunity to experience the toughest sport on dirt when the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) 2014 Blue DEF Velocity Tour bucks into Orlando at the Amway Center on Saturday, Saturday, July 12. Tickets are availabe/on sale beginning Wednesday, May 7 at 10:00am.
During this one-day event, 35 of the best up-and-coming bull riders in the world face off with foes nearly 10 times their weight in sinewy brawn during the most thrilling 8 seconds in sports. Each rider challenges at least one of the rankest bulls on the planet. At the end of the competition, the rider with the highest combined score is crowned the champion.
Orlando is the 12th stop on the 2014 Blue DEF Velocity Tour. The tour kicked off in Reno, NV on January 18 and makes stops in Cleveland, Louisville, Minneapolis, San Diego, and Bakersfield, CA this year.
Select events are broadcast on PBR Live, a CBS Interactive digital broadcast platform. PBR Live is a partnership between the PBR and CBS Interactive, offering more than 100 digital broadcasts annually. The Blue DEF Velocity Tour broadcasts on PBR Live represents the first time that PBR fans are able to view a regular schedule of non-Built Ford Tough Series events, a long-standing request from PBR’s passionate fans.
