Guy Fawkes Day dates back to the failed 1605 attempt by a group of Conspirators (among them Guy Fawkes) to assassinate King James I of England and blow up the Houses of Parliament.

Today, Guy Fawkes Day — also known as Bonfire Night — is marked across the United Kingdom by celebrations. To foot the bill for the traditional fireworks, children roam the streets in the days leading up to the event, brandishing their effigies — known as "Guys" — and ask passers-by for a "penny for the guy.

For 400 years, bonfires have burned on November 5th to mark the failed Gunpowder Plot...Now we are bringing "Bonfire Night" to the heart of Kissimmee, Florida for a wonderful family evening!
